Wakely National Risk Adjustment Reporting (WNRAR)
Risk adjustment reporting that keeps your organization prepared.
The Wakely National Risk Adjustment Reporting (WNRAR) Project provides participating issuers with reports detailing risk adjustment metrics, including payables and receivables. The project covers more than 35 states and 19 million lives, and provides data categorized by risk pool (individual, small group, and catastrophic) and by state. About 80 issuers participate in the project, including nearly all major multi-market Affordable Care Act (ACA) issuers.
Don’t get blindsided: WNRAR keeps you on top of risk adjustment transfers.
If your organization relies solely on the ACA risk adjustment program for metrics, it’s hard to compare your risk scores to the market throughout the year. WNRAR collects data from participants and provides them with estimates five times each year — five snapshots of the market they can use to project their risk adjustment transfer payments or receivables more accurately. In a historically volatile risk adjustment environment, this can save your organization money and time.
