With more than 35 years of actuarial consulting experience, Scott Guillemette has demonstrated proficiency working with payers, providers, life sciences organizations and venture capital/private equity firms across the healthcare industry’s public and private sectors.
Scott brings a wide range of expertise, spanning strategy and value creation, financial risk and capital management, market and pricing dynamics, and transaction‑level impact assessment. He provides strategy, value and decision support, ideating and developing analyses, including care and intervention impact analyses. He leverages his technical modeling skills to provide actionable insights into policy change, provider and market supply and demand, and Cost and Market Impact Reviews (CMIRs) of proposed healthcare transactions.
Previously, Scott was vice president of actuarial services at a healthcare consulting company, leading their enterprise-wide pre-sales analytics initiative to identify potential areas of financial opportunity for key strategic clients. He supported the firm’s strategic initiatives by creating affordability solutions, building new products, creating new service capabilities, and evaluating partnerships and acquisitions. In addition to his contributions to the firm, he also consulted directly with payers, providers and life science organizations.
Scott previously worked with a global professional services company as a consultant and later as a principal. He specialized in financial, operational and strategic managed healthcare consulting.
Scott earned his bachelor’s degree in statistics from the University of Minnesota. He is an associate of the Society of Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
