Scott Burns supports work in several areas including the Wakely National Risk Adjustment Reporting (WNRAR) project and multiple applications of the Wakely Risk Score Optimization (RSO) process. He analyzed carrier-level data produced in response to CMS’s Transparency in Coverage rules and is working with colleagues to mine and curate those data sets with the goal of increasing accessibility and usefulness.

Scott earned master’s degrees in mathematics and computer science education from the University of Nebraska and a bachelor’s degree of science in mathematics from Nebraska Wesleyan University.
