Scott Burns

Scott Burns works in the Denver office of Wakely Consulting Group, LLC, an HMA Company.  Scott joined Wakely in 2022 after spending several years as a teacher and researcher in secondary and post-secondary education.  At Wakely, Scott has supported work on several tasks including the Wakely National Risk Adjustment Reporting (WNRAR) project, Wakely’s Risk Score Optimization (RSO) process, and the development of reporting packages for the Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS). He has also worked with colleagues to enhance the usefulness of data posted under Transparency in Coverage (TiC) rules. Scott has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Nebraska Wesleyan University and master’s degrees in math and computer science education from the University of Nebraska.
