Michael Turley is an innovative data analyst with experience designing tools and producing proof of concepts. He is a skilled coder with technical proficiency in Python, SQL, and Graphviz, as well as Excel, Microsoft SQL Server, Jupyter Notebook and Power BI.
In his role as a data analyst with Wakely Consulting Group, an HMA Company, Michael has designed and implemented a new reporting tool using Power BI and has produced proof of concepts on projects adopted by the company.
Prior to this, working as a data analyst intern, he designed a novel troubleshooting tool for Wakely. Demonstrating his capabilities with Python, SQL and Graphviz, the tool produced a visual decision tree for a given stored procedure allowing users to easily identify which lines of code were responsible for incorrect outputs. He also refactored SQL code to optimize processing time and reduce database storage.
Michael earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities.
