Luke Brehmer

Luke Brehmer, FSA, MAAA has been with the firm since 2014 and has over ten years of healthcare actuarial experience. With Wakely, Luke has primarily focused on commercial pricing, ACA rate setting and rate review, reserving, Medicaid rate setting and rate negotiations, and Medicare Advantage rate setting. Prior to Wakely, Luke was with a start-up technology company that created a private exchange platform. Here, he served in a consultative actuarial role advising employers and health plans on issues critical to the success of a private exchange. Luke also spent time as a senior analyst at a Midwest health insurer where he focused small and large group pricing, stop-loss pricing, and ACA modeling related to risk adjustment and public exchange pricing.
