Josh Lange supports healthcare clients through actuarial analytics, data visualization, predictive modeling, and analytical tool development. He is proficient in Python, R, SQL, and VBA and brings a strong background in data science.
At Wakely Consulting Group, an HMA Company, Josh works primarily on the Wakely Analytics Health Operations Optimization (WAHOO) team, where he develops analytical platforms and tools that transform complex healthcare data into actionable insights. Outside of WAHOO, Josh has experience across Medicare and Medicaid, including Medicare bid development and analysis of dual-eligible enrollment patterns.
Josh specializes in tool development and is a Power BI subject-matter expert with experience developing end-to-end healthcare reporting solutions. His work spans back-end architecture, data ingestion and transformation, calculation development, and front-end user-interface design.
Josh earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with studies in actuarial science, economics, finance, and risk management and insurance. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.
