John Ricard

John Ricard joined Wakely, an HMA company, in May 2021. He worked in a variety of areas, including government sponsored managed care programs (e.g., Medicare). He analyzed the impacts of government rulings and legislation and developed the Wakely Medicare Repricing Analysis Tool to better support Wakely clients. Mr. Ricard provided analyst support for several client initiatives, including supporting the Wakely Analytics Health Operations Optimization team, supporting the analysis behind helping clients expand to additional markets, assisting with research initiatives at Wakely (e.g., analyzing and visualizing the impacts of the recent CMS Hospital Price Transparency ruling).

Mr. Ricard earned his bachelor’s degrees in actuarial science and data analytics from Drake University. He is proficient in VBA, R, and SQL, and is pursuing his associate of the society of actuaries credential.
