Chris Korloch has a passion for data analytics and statistical modeling. In his role at Wakely Consulting Group, an HMA Company, he contributes to the Wakely National Risk Adjustment Report (WNRAR) team while exploring new opportunities and projects. His expertise in Microsoft Excel, statistical analysis system (SAS), and structured query language (SQL) provides valuable insights to clients and delivering data-driven solutions.
Having interned in Wakely’s Denver office, Chris gained valuable experience working with the Wakely National Risk Adjustment Reporting (WNRAR) team. During his internship, he played a key role in developing interim Affordable Care Act (ACA) risk transfer estimates for over 70 issuers. He used his skills in SQL, Excel, and data analysis to streamline processes and enhance efficiencies.
Chris also participated in the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) Student Central Summer Program, where he engaged in in-depth modules focused on topics including property and casualty basics, Excel, data visualization, ratemaking, reserving, and predictive modeling.
Chris earned his bachelor’s degree in actuarial science and statistics and an SAS programming and data analysis certificate from Florida State University.
