Christina Walker is a senior actuarial analyst with experience in modeling and forecasting for Medicaid program performance and expenditures.
Prior to joining Wakely Consulting Group, an HMA Company, Christina was a senior actuarial analyst. In this role, she developed, improved, and maintained monthly monitoring models to support rate advocacy and ensure efficient and accurate forecasting for Kansas Medicaid expenditures.
Christina was involved in many internal projects at her previous employer. including the onboarding committee where she was instrumental in developing and implementing the buddy program; the diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) committee in which she served as a liaison for the organization of Latino actuaries (OLA); and the exam takers study material resource which supported employees as they sat for actuarial exams.
Christina earned a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics and statistics from Stony Brook University. She is currently studying to achieve a designation from the Society of Actuaries.
